Little Stars Wraparound care
Little Stars is a caring, fun and flexible breakfast and after-school club that offers parents affordable peace of mind. Our wraparound care is for children from St Augustine’s CVA and St George’s School, Stamford.
The Little Stars room was updated during Summer 2023 – a fixed kitchen has been installed to ensure we continue to provide high standards of food safety and hygiene, and the room has been redecorated. This space will be used by the school in the day as a wellbeing room, so when our nurture dogs, Bonnie and Baxter are in school they will be joining the Little Stars team too!
Access
The front entrance to the school has also been updated, and now has a tarmac entrance path with safety barriers and lights which will bring you to an access gate with an intercom pad. This system will allow us to speak through the intercom on your arrival in the morning and evening, and for us to release the gate for you to bring or collect your child from the external Little Stars door each day, making drop-off and collection a much easier system for everyone.
Activities
Miss Bush, Sports Apprentice will now be working with Little Stars from 4-5pm to provide activities for the children who attend. Miss Bush is Forest School trained and will be involving the Little Stars pupils in continuing to develop this area and enjoyable activities
Costs
As a result of the cost of living crisis we all find ourselves in, we have made the decision to increase our prices for the first time in 5 years; this will be effective from September 2023. We will also be charging pupils who attend St. George’s Primary School a slightly higher fee than those who attend St. Augustine’s due to the increased administration involved in providing this service. The new fees will be:

All sessions include food and activities. Activities include painting, arts and crafts, keep fit and dancing, biscuit/ cake decorating and movie nights! Homework time and laptops are available every evening. We are very lucky to be able to take full advantage of the outside facilities available to us, ensuring that the children have lots of time on the playground, play equipment and field, weather permitting.
