Welcome to St. Augustine’s Catholic Voluntary Academy and thank you for visiting our school website. Our Academy strives to provide an environment which allows happy, hardworking children to have fun whilst achieving their personal best.

Situated in the picturesque town of Stamford,  our small-town school is part of the St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Multi Academy Trust, which consists of 16 Catholic schools.

St Augustine's Catholic Voluntary Academy strives to be a faith community inspiring all our pupils to develop spiritually, academically and emotionally

We grow and learn as a family in the footsteps of Jesus”

We enjoy very close links with our local parish church St Mary and St Augustine and the strong Christian ethos and family feel within our school is shared with all our visitors.

At St Augustine’s, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, open school where children are encouraged to do their best from the minute they enter school until they leave for secondary school at 11. We recognise that learning is a journey and that our role as educators is to ensure our pupils are ready to face any future challenges with confidence. Our vision for our pupils is that they are:

  • Creative, excited and curious learners
  • Excellent communicators
  • Confident in their abilities and their contribution to our world
  • Resilient to change or challenge
  • Respectful of others, our community and our world

We have high expectations of all pupils to ensure that our children strive for excellence in everything they do. Our school will recognise, plan for and celebrate individual needs and achievements. Pupils will be inspired and challenged through a range of opportunities across the curriculum to ensure they believe they are successful, confident and resilient learners.
