St Augustine’s children spread the true meaning of Christmas

Children from St Augustine’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, in Stamford, have been spreading messages of love, peace, hope and joy. Every pupil made an angel with a special Advent message on it, which was then handed out on the High Street to cafés and shops.

A surprise hamper from children at St Augustine’s brought Christmas cheer for local residents

The school put together personalised hampers for residents at Charter Lodge, Ketton. The hampers were made up of generous donations, which children collected over the Advent period; items included bed socks, chocolates, biscuits and toiletries.

Manager Wendy gave the children a warm welcome and invited them in to meet some of the residents. The school hope to continue to have links with Charter Lodge throughout the coming New Year
