Welcome

Welcome to St. Augustine’s Catholic Voluntary Academy and thank you for visiting our school website. I hope that you find the information you are looking for and that you get a “flavour” of the ethos of our school as well as our recent events and successes.

We are a small Voluntary Aided Catholic Academy with 130 children aged between 4 - 11 yrs old on roll and are federated with English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy in Oakham. We are part of the St Gilbert of Sempringham Catholic Academy Trust together with our federated school St Augustine's, Stamford as well as Our Lady of Good Counsel, Sleaford, Our Lady of Lincoln, St Hughes and St Peter & St Paul, Lincoln.

St Augustine's Catholic Voluntary Academy strives to be a faith community inspiring all our pupils to develop spiritually, academically and emotionally

We grow and learn as a family in the footsteps of Jesus”

We recognise that learning is a journey and that our role as educators is to ensure our pupils are ready to face any future challenges with confidence. Our vision for our pupils is that they are:

  • Creative, excited and curious learners
  • Excellent communicators
  • Confident in their abilities and their contribution to our world
  • Resilient to change or challenge
  • Respectful of others, our community and our world

Our school will recognise, plan for and celebrate individual needs and achievements. Pupils will be challenged through a range of opportunities across the curriculum to ensure they believe they are successful, confident and resilient learners.
